The Search for a Mentor

I must admit that up until now, my effort to find a mentor for the Capstone Project has been at its minimal. So I do sincerely apologize to myself, because I knew that I would have to find one sooner or later.

So today is Christmas, and what better things do I have to do than to begin my search at 2 o'clock in the morning? Procrastination at its finest, really.

Let me begin by saying that my Capstone Project has changed from "Building a computer" to becoming a "Comic/Concept Artist", due to a shortage of sufficient funds to build a brand new computer.

I started my search in the most obvious place for locals, Craigslist. I found no listings in the San Francisco Bay Area, so I decided to look at some forums on Google.

I stumbled upon CGHub, a forum for computer graphic artists. It piqued my interest, so I decided to stop by and found that they had an "Education" Thread.

Another site, ConceptArt.org looked useful as well.

I bookmarked both websites for my to be continued hunt, so I can try again soon. I'm tired and it's Christmas, so I deserve a break, don't I?

Progress has been made.
